Phased estate development
Annual 300-hectare planting phases build long-term production capacity while spreading capital deployment and operational scale-up.
Project Portfolio · River Gee County, Liberia
Building a professionally managed and scalable cocoa enterprise through commercial estate development, farmer participation and early-stage cocoa trading.
Project Overview
The Odis Moss Cocoa Development Programme is a commercial cocoa production and trading project in River Gee County, Liberia.
The programme is planned to establish 300 hectares of new cocoa plantation annually, creating a 1,500-hectare professionally managed estate over five years. Phased development allows plantation management, infrastructure, workforce and capital deployment to expand progressively.
The estate is complemented by approximately 200 hectares currently cultivated by independent farmers. The Project Company intends to procure approximately 100,000 kg of dried cocoa beans annually from this existing supply base, supporting early commercial activity while the new estate matures.
Investment Highlights
Production, revenue and profitability figures are base-case projections published by the project and remain subject to agronomic, commercial, legal and financial due diligence.
Commercial Model
Annual 300-hectare planting phases build long-term production capacity while spreading capital deployment and operational scale-up.
Purchasing from existing local growers is intended to create initial trading activity before the new estate reaches commercial production.
Independent farmers gain a commercial route to market while the programme develops a broader and more resilient cocoa supply base.
Development Pathway
Land Position
The project is supported by a historical landholding associated with Odis Moss Plantation Company, Inc. A Public Land Sales Deed dated 8 June 1925 records the conveyance of approximately 100,000 acres to the company in fee simple.
Updated independent legal verification of title, boundaries, encumbrances and relevant land rights is to be completed before Financial Close.
